- Patient procedures such as thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies are directly performed by me using the latest innovative technologies in a convenient in-office setting.
How will the cost of your care be covered?
- Today many patients carry insurance under high deductible health plans with a health savings account (HSA) which requires them to pay the costs of their medical care directly.
- Patient costs will be covered under a hybrid fee-for-service model where you will pay at the time of your visit and I will provide you an invoice and superbill to submit to your health plan.
- The superbill includes billing and coding information and an itemized receipt of costs to be applied to your out-of-network health plan benefits.
- My office will work with your insurance to get in-network prior authorizations for your prescription medications.
- Your laboratory and pathology orders will be sent to companies who are in-network with your health plan such as Labcorp, Quest, and Afirma. Therefore, only the office visit costs will be out-of-network.
